Benedicto:

May your trails be crooked, winding, lonesome, dangerous, leading to the most amazing view. May your rivers flow without end, meandering through pastoral valleys tinkling with bells, past temples and castles and poets’ towers into a dark primeval forest where tigers belch and monkey’s howl, through miasmal and mysterious swamps and down into a desert of red rock, blue mesas, domes and pinnacles and grottos of endless stone, and down again into a deep vast ancient unknown chasm where bars of sunlight blaze on profiled cliffs, where deer walk across the white sand beaches where storms come and go as lightening clangs upon the high crags, where something strange and more beautiful and more full of wonder than your deepest dreams waits for you---beyond that next turning of the canyon walls. ---Edward Abbey (thanks Trudy Hall)

China Blocks my Blog Site; Must wait

Hello All,
It turns out tha China blocks things like Facebook, YouTube and Blog sites.  It looks like I won't be posting anything new until about mid June after I've reached the UK.  I'm still on email and can get Facebook messages via my email.
I hope you don't forget me while I'm learning about China.
Our plans are to leave Beijing tomorrow, go to Xi'an, then to Yangshuo (?) in the beautiful South and teach a little English there, then to Shenzhen and Hong Kong to reunite with Emma Willard alums and students and parents before we head out around June 6.
It has already been wonderful, so I'll tell you stories when I can get on a place where I can load onto this site.
Love and a cupped hand full of precious something,
Sue
